We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Careers Adviser to join our successful secondary school and play a key role in supporting students as they plan their futures. The appointed candidate will deliver high‑quality, impartial careers information, advice and guidance, helping young people make informed decisions about their next steps into education, employment or training. With a particular focus on vulnerable learners and those at risk of becoming NEET, you will lead the KS4 application process, provide one‑to‑one guidance interviews and work closely with pastoral, safeguarding, SEND and external agencies to ensure every student receives coordinated, effective support.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent knowledge of the further education landscape and strong experience within an educational setting. You will coordinate key elements of our careers programme, including work experience, careers events and employer engagement, while maintaining up‑to‑date resources, destination data and CEIAG information across the school. Outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will collaborate with staff, families, post‑16 providers and employers to secure the best possible outcomes for our students. If you are passionate about raising aspirations and helping young people progress confidently into their next stage, we would be delighted to hear from you.
