Campus

In September 2022 we opened our new campus, a dedicated space for our students to study. The facilities include an auditorium, classrooms and state of the art science labs and IT facilities along with our café, Common Grounds, featuring a barista station, booths, sofas and work stations.

Enrichment

We believe in developing more than just academic abilities so that job and university applications get noticed. We offer around 100 different enrichment opportunities which is ever-evolving and student driven. Some are short projects like the NHS ‘Healthier Together’ assignment and some run every week such as the debating club and student newspaper.

Support

Our sixth form is a stepping-stone to employment or university. Students can be as independent as they like, but we are always here to support, nurture and guide. Our dedicated team includes form tutors, a Careers and UCAS Co-ordinator, a Pastoral Support Officer and a Study Support and Attendance Officer, all devoted to our students.

Adventure

Students have the chance to go on some amazing adventures around the world as well as closer to home. From Robin Hood’s Bay and Manchester to Kyoto in Japan and the Sacred Valley in Peru.

Golf Academy

We offer a golf scholarship alongside students’ study. This includes membership at Cookridge Hall golf course, plus golf lessons delivered by a PGA qualified coach. A fantastic opportunity for those wanting to pursue golfing careers as we have professional links with US scholarship programmes.

Feel Good Factor

Our sixth form is about getting students to where they want to be, but we have fun along the way! Dressing up for Children in Need, charity bake sales, theatre trips, staff vs student sporting fixtures, cooking lessons for language students and our Year 13 prom. Our students work so hard, so it’s great to throw in some downtime with friends too!
