To study at the Sixth Form at Horsforth School you will need a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade 5 or above including GCSE English (Literature or Language) and GCSE Mathematics. Course entry requirements for individual subjects are often higher: please check the courses section of our website for further details.
Applications from Current Horsforth School Students
- Please note current Horsforth School students must not fill in the online application form on the Sixth Form website to apply to the Sixth Form at Horsforth
- To apply for the Sixth Form at Horsforth you must complete the google form which will be shared with you via email after you receive your mock exam results in November
- You will then be invited to an individual interview to discuss your subject choices
- Places will be offered via email after all interviews have taken place. All offers will be conditional based on students meeting our entry requirements.
How to Apply from Other Schools
- Use the information provided within the prospectus or online here to help with your subject choices
- Click on the ‘external applicants apply here’ button below and complete the online application form
- All applicants will be invited for a group interview/visit
- If possible, you should bring your official mock exams to the group interview/visit. You should also bring your latest school report and attendance certificate
- Provided all the required evidence has been submitted you will be offered a conditional place which must be accepted by the deadline stated in the letter.
