Our Results

The summer of 2020 was like no other, but our students still did exceptionally well given the circumstances.  We were delighted that 28% of all A Level grades awarded were at A*-A, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our students. The average grade achieved was a B across all A Level subjects and nearly 12% of our students achieved at least 3 A grades or better.

We are still proud to be one of the top sixth forms in Leeds giving our students the best chance of going to a top Russell Group University.

Many of our students went on to study Mathematics, Chemistry, History, Geography, Medicine, Film Production and Mechanical Engineering to name a few.

Individual standout successes for students with bright futures included, Charlie who achieved four A* grades and went on to study Mathematics at Durham University, Shirley who also gained four A*s and went to study Materials Science and Engineering at Imperial College London and Sarah who gained three A*s and went to study History at Durham.

Dr. Paul Bell, Headteacher said “These were exceptional times and it’s not been easy for our Year 13 students but we are incredibly proud of all of them. Their commitment and dedication to their studies paid off and they are a credit to us and their families. We wish them all the very best of luck for the future.”
