Results 2024

Our students were celebrating after yet another year of outstanding results with 42 percent of students achieving A*, A, Distinction* or Distinction grades and 68 percent achieving A* to B. This is significantly above the National Average and sets them up nicely as they prepare for the next stage of their education.

Oliver Watkins, Director of The Sixth Form at Horsforth, said, “I honestly couldn’t be happier with our results, 38% of all A Levels were A*-A. I want to offer huge congratulations to all the students who worked so hard and will now reap the benefits of that work. I also want to say a massive thank you to the amazing team of staff whose passion and dedication has empowered our students to achieve these results.”

Students will go on to study the length and breadth of the country as well as overseas. Niall, has taken advantage of our one-of-a-kind Golf Academy, in partnership with Cookridge Hall Golf Club and has already travelled across the Atlantic to take up his scholarship place at Our Lady of the Lake University in Texas. Here, he will get the best of both worlds, studying for a Batchelor’s degree while developing his golfing skills at a world-renowned establishment.

Twins Harry and Adam have outstanding mathematic abilities and have proved this by gaining seven A* and one A grade between them. Harry will now study Medicine at The University of Edinburgh and Adam Engineering at The University of Sheffield – both will make a wonderful asset to the universities.

Many other students have secured exciting apprenticeships and will gain valuable industry experience in diverse sectors, such as automotive engineering with Jaguar and Mercedes and economics at the Government Economic Service.
