As Horsforth Sixth Form continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and highly organised Pastoral Officer to play a key role in supporting the wellbeing, personal development and success of our students.
The Pastoral Officer will provide a consistent and approachable point of contact for students, helping them to navigate the academic, social and personal demands of Sixth Form. The role will focus on pastoral care, wellbeing, mental health, student engagement, organisation and progression, ensuring students feel known, valued and supported.
Working closely with the Director of Sixth Form, tutors, subject staff, safeguarding team, parents/carers and external professionals where appropriate, the postholder will identify emerging concerns and provide timely, appropriate pastoral intervention.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead/run some directed study sessions as part of their role.
