Minibus Driver – Part Time

Actual Salary £4, 706 per annum

8.25 Hours Per Week Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – Term Time Only*

(additional overtime opportunities during the week, weekends and school holidays)*

 * 8.25 hours per week, split into two daily shifts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (6.45am to 8.15am and 2.45pm to 4pm).

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Minibus Driver to provide safe transport for our sixth form students during the morning pick‑up and afternoon drop‑off.

We are looking for someone with a flexible, positive, ‘can‑do’ approach. You will need to be confident using your own initiative while also working effectively as part of the site team. The role also offers opportunities for additional hours to cover staff absence, holidays, and weekend lettings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive the school minibus for student transport and school activities.
  • Carry out routine checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.

 Skills & Experience Required

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (D1 category essential, or willingness to undertake and pass a minibus driver qualification).
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

We are also willing to accept applications from interested candidates who may only want to work mornings or afternoons – please state on the application form the hours you would like to be considered for.

Please note that holidays cannot be taken during term time for this role.
