Rosemary Edwards - Community Governor
Rosemary Edwards became a Governor of Horsforth School in March 2013. She sits on the Finance and Premises and Curriculum Committees and is Lead Governor for English.
Rosemary is a Partner at a leading commercial law firm in Leeds, where she heads up a team dealing with residential development work. Highly regarded as a leading lawyer in her field, Rosemary is also a member of the firm’s Management Board and has extensive experience of managing people, client relationships and projects.
For many years, Rosemary served as a Board member of The Leeds Law Society and in 2006, was elected as the youngest ever President of the Society. During her term of office she was involved extensively in promoting the Leeds legal sector, both at home and internationally.
In her spare time, Rosemary enjoys singing (she is a member of Otley Choral Society) and walking.
